If you’re flying in bright, sunlit conditions, use either of the three neutral density filters in the kit. The ND4, ND6, and ND8 filters reduce light by 2 to 3 stops. It is ideal for shooting at slower shutter speeds for fast motion, or for wider apertures for controlling depth of field. If you need more from the filter, opt for either the ND4/PL, ND8/PL, or ND16/PL. They reduce light by 2 to 4 stops but have the added benefit of polarization, which reduces reflections and glare, such as what’s found on water, wet surfaces, and glass.
